Why we started Produl
Produl began as an internal dashboard. We were running a handful of small SaaS products and wanted one place to see real traffic, real Core Web Vitals, and real revenue — without rebuilding three GA4 properties, paying for a product analytics seat per teammate, or stitching consent banners through every funnel step.
The thing that pushed us to ship it as a product was the realisation that privacy-focused analytics in 2026 is no longer a niche. Browsers default to blocking third-party cookies. Regulators on three continents have enforcement budgets. Customers read privacy pages before signing up. The right default is no longer surveillance with a consent banner glued on top — it's cookieless analytics that respects the visitor by design and gives the operator numbers that match their server logs.
Our mission is to be the Google Analytics alternative small teams reach for first: small enough to install in a minute, honest enough to read the privacy policy in a sitting, and powerful enough to replace the dashboard, the funnel tool, the Web Vitals checker, and the uptime page — all at once. The full surface area lives on our features page; the privacy posture lives on our security page; and the long-form thinking — including why real-time analytics beats daily reports — lives on the blog.
